In 2020, I convened the Governance Excellence Conference in Kenya, a 300-delegate event with sponsorship from Safaricom, ABSA Bank, leading hospitals, law firms, and manufacturing companies. The event was postponed 24 hours before launch due to the first COVID case announcement. The relationships and learnings from that process remain.
